Biography:

Tom Long is a recent University College Cork Food Science graduate. He joined the DPTC team as a Research Assistant in July and began helping with RFA 1, Project 1.2. He comes from a dairy farming background so he has a particular interest in dairy and agricultural science and how factors such as seasonality and nutrition affect the composition of milk as a food processing parameter. His interests and hobbies outside of work include farming, GAA and table quizzes.
