Biography:

Dr Orest Shardt is a Lecturer in Fluid Mechanics and Transport Processes in the Bernal Institute at the University of Limerick. He received his BSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta in Canada and subsequently held a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University in the USA. His research interests are in process modelling, and in particular systems with multiphase flows that also involve heat and mass transport.
