Biography:

Dr Matteo Lusi obtained a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Crystallography from the University of Bristol. He worked as a postdoc in Stellenbosch University (South Africa), the NYUAD (United Arab Emirates) before arriving in Limerick in 2014.

Dr Lusi has published over 80 papers, book chapters and patents in the fields of molecular crystallography and solid state reactions and is interested in the design of new porous materials, molecular complexes and solid solutions for molecular separation, drug delivery and optoelectronic applications
